Who this covers

This notice covers the enquiry form on this website. It's issued by Dominic Potts, trading as Move Ahead Digital ("Move Ahead Digital", "I", "me"), the data controller for anything submitted through that form. For anything covered here, contact info@move-ahead-digital.co.uk.

What's collected

When you submit the enquiry form, the following is collected:

• Name, business name, email address, and phone number if given
• The message you write describing your systems and the problem
• Your consent to this notice, and the time it was given
• Your browser's user-agent string and a country code derived from your connection, used only to detect spam and enforce a submission rate limit
• A one-way hash of your IP address, kept separately from your enquiry for one hour and used only to stop the same connection submitting the form more than three times in that hour

Why it's collected

Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to deliver the Systems Rescue or diagnosis you've asked about. Nothing submitted through this form is used for marketing, sold, or shared with anyone outside the services listed below.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1, a database service operated by Cloudflare, Inc. The database behind this form is configured with Cloudflare's EU data-localisation jurisdiction setting, so enquiry data is stored and processed within the EU. Sending the notification email uses Resend, an email delivery service; that message includes the details you submitted and is delivered to Move Ahead Digital's inbox.

This site also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell human visitors from automated bots before a submission is accepted. Turnstile runs invisibly and does not require you to solve a puzzle. Its use of data is governed by Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy.

How long it's kept

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from submission, or for as long as needed to deliver an engagement you've commissioned, whichever is longer. After that it's deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the information held about you, or ask that it not be used further. To do any of this, email info@move-ahead-digital.co.uk and it will be actioned within one month. If you're unhappy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU data protection authority.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie strictly necessary to distinguish human visitors from bots.
