The Systems Rescue

Your software doesn't talk to your other software. I fix that in three weeks, for a fixed price.

Move Ahead Digital is a systems integration consultancy. The Systems Rescue connects the software your business already runs — CRM, booking, invoicing, your website — for a fixed £4,500 (or £1,500 for diagnosis alone), so staff stop re-keying the same data by hand between systems that were never connected in the first place.

The problem

Manual re-keying is a part-time salary, spent twice.

A typical SME loses 8–12 hours a week to manual workarounds between systems that should share data automatically but don't. That's the equivalent of a part-time employee whose entire job is copying and pasting.

The booking platform doesn't update the CRM.

A client books online. Someone still has to open the CRM and add them by hand — or the record simply doesn't exist until someone remembers.

Website forms go nowhere useful.

An enquiry lands in an inbox, gets forwarded, gets copied into a spreadsheet, then gets re-typed into whatever system actually tracks the sale. Most of them get lost on the way.

Invoices get re-typed from one system into another.

Numbers move from the accounting package into the booking or practice-management system, or the other way round, by hand, line by line, every single time.

How it works

Three weeks. Three steps. One invoice.

Week 1

Diagnosis

I map how data actually moves through your business — not how it's supposed to. You get a plain-English report showing every breakpoint and what each one costs you.

Weeks 2–3

The fix

I build the integration and test it against your real data. If a custom build isn't the right answer, you get a full technical specification instead — no wasted spend.

Handover

Handover

You get documentation your team can actually use, a walkthrough session, and then I leave. No retainer, no lock-in.

Pricing

Transparent, on the page. That's deliberate.

The Systems Rescue is a fixed-price, three-week service — diagnosis, build, and handover — for £4,500. Including connecting AI tools to your existing systems.

More about the diagnosis
Case study

A UK medical laboratory, connected in real time.

A patient booking system that couldn't talk to the clinical practice management platform. Staff were bridging the gap by hand, appointment by appointment. A middleware layer now moves the data automatically, in real time.

Is this for you?

Built for a specific kind of business.

Right for you if

  • You've got 5–50 staff.
  • You're running three or more separate software systems that should share data but don't.
  • Someone on your team spends part of every week moving information between them by hand.

Not right for you if

  • You want ongoing IT support or a long-term development partner. I solve the problem I'm hired for, then leave — that's the point, not a shortcoming.

Every Systems Rescue is scoped, built, and handed over by the person doing the work.

FAQ

Questions worth answering properly.

What systems can you integrate?

Most CRMs, booking and scheduling platforms, invoicing and accounting software, websites and web forms, and practice management systems, connected through their APIs, webhooks, or scheduled data transfers. If a system offers any way to get data in or out, it can usually be connected.

What if a custom build isn't the right answer?

Sometimes the right fix is a configuration change, an integration you already have but aren't using, or a build that isn't worth the cost yet. In that case the diagnosis report says so and gives you a full technical specification instead — you don't pay for a build you don't need.

What happens after handover?

You get documentation written for your team, not for developers, plus a walkthrough session covering how the integration works and what to check if something changes upstream. Then I leave — the system is yours to run.

Do you offer ongoing support? (No — and why that’s a feature)

No, deliberately. The Systems Rescue ends with handover, not a retainer, because an engagement with no end date has no incentive to finish properly. If something breaks later, you can bring me back for a fixed-price fix, but there's no ongoing contract to maintain.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

There's no account manager, no team of juniors, and no hourly billing that rewards slow work. One person scopes the problem, builds the fix, and hands it over for a fixed price agreed before work starts.

Can you connect AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to our systems?

Yes — connecting AI tools to your existing systems is included in the Systems Rescue, whether that means feeding your data to an AI assistant, automating a workflow with one, or exposing your systems through an API an AI tool can call. It's scoped during the diagnosis like any other integration.

Do you work with French businesses?

Yes. Move Ahead Digital works with clients in both the UK and France, in English or French, and diagnosis reports and handover materials can be delivered in either language.

What does the diagnosis report contain?

A plain-English map of how data actually moves through your business today, a list of every breakpoint where it stops moving automatically, a cost estimate for each breakpoint, and a recommended fix, including a build/no-build verdict. If you proceed to the full Systems Rescue, the £1,500 diagnosis fee is credited in full.
